Getting traffic from social media is a time consuming task. That is, unless you are an A-list blogger. They have other bloggers racing to be the first to digg, reddit, stumble, propel, mixx or buzz their posts. With A list bloggers, their faithful readers will tag, sphinn or tweet anything! John Chow's loyal followers will even bookmark his latest post that shares little more than photos of his dinner and dessert!

How much time will you spend on social bookmarking sites if you're not an A, B or C list blogger? Most of your time. 4. Decide the amount of money you can dedicate to these sources of traffic. (There are free services or software you can purchase for reasonable prices).
5. Be realistic about the time you can dedicate to obtaining traffic. Free methods can consume time, but it will have to do if you don't have an advertising budget.
